Travelling around the Isle of Skye is most frequently, and most easily, done by road so our virtual tour will follow the highways and byways with only a few short excursions on foot.

For those of you who are blessed with strong legs and a good set of lungs the island offers an infinite variety of walks, along the coast, over the moors, or up in the mountains.

And for those lucky enough to be exploring the area by sea, the waters around Skye can offer you some of the most spectacular sailing imaginable while providing numerous anchorages, many with free visitor moorings.

Our tour starts in the South of the island and makes its way up through the South-East (including the mainland area of Lochalsh), through the Cuillin mountains to Central Skye, and then around the North-West and North-East.
